Plásticos González, S.A. was founded in 1972 and has extensive experience and technical capacity in processing plastics by injection and injection blow moulding to produce packaging.
We design and manufacture all kinds of caps for personal care and household care products, as well as roll-on and stick deodorants, cosmetic jars and aerosol caps among other items. Our products are designed for both domestic customers and international customers all over the world.
1972Company foundation and construction of offices, manufacturing plant and warehouse covering 1.000 m².
Production plant and warehouse are extended, enlarging the facilities to an area over 3.500 m².
1998A new extension is added to increase the range of products manufactured and accommodate the new machinery required. The production plant and warehouse are extended, enlarging the facilities to an area over 5.000 m².
2002As a result of the company’s growth, it is necessary to expand the production area and warehouse. For this reason, it was decided to construct a new warehouse and renovate the production area to focus exclusively to manufacturing. The facilities now cover an area of over 12.000 m².
R+D+I. The first fully electric injection machine is installed for producing.
2008Investment in Plásticos González facilities to reduce energy cost. A new lighting system that makes better use of sunlight is installed.
2009R+D+I. Research into new biodegradable materials.
2010Completion of a new building to house offices, production area, mould maintenance shop and warehouse. This new building is adjacent to existing buildings. It is a decisive step in the history of the company, as it allows it to continue expanding and provides the latest technology both in facilities and auxiliary equipment and machinery manufacturing.
Acquisition of the aerosol caps business Guala Closures.
